OSA Andes Docks is deconsolidating containers!

Success Story  ·  April 2025 Por Diana Morales, Leader UX en OSA.

Medlog put our trust in us so we could carry our successful software towards containers. Today OSA Andes Docks deconsolidates cargo from multiple simultaneous containers aided by AI.

OSA Andes Docks for containers is already available, up and running in port-to-distribution centers, and Medlog is behind it..

It all started with a linkedin direct message to Juan Ramón López from Medlog, with a proposal: To adapt our unit control software, which was already successful in delivering vehicles to Derco in Latin America, to be able to fit the container deconsolidation operation. This awoke immediate interest in Juan Ramón and also Juan Vera, operations assistant manager at Medlog. They both supported us since the beginning.
The key question was: ¿Do you believe it’s possible? ?

Of course, the project faced numerous hardships up to a critical point last September, but the right e-mail at the right time and place, steered the negotiation and finally opened us the doors to a fundamental collaboration.

Juan Pablo Stolzenbach, process engineer at Medlog, joined the fray and contributed with the needed technical expertise. In just three months, and thanks to tightly woven teamwork, we managed to adapt our technology to the deconsolidation operation.

Today we can even identify containers using Artificial Intelligence and we can manage to deconsolidate multiple simultaneous containers in a non-linear fashion, while strongly reducing systemic input data errors.

This whole development highlights the importance of having initiative and inside support, of persevering through obstacles and the impact of counting with the right talent and expertise to build a concrete and promising solution from an idea.

Now we’re growing within the docks and reaching further containers and loads. Are you still waiting to join in? Contact us!
